To create your own Save Skelly! interactive assessment, you will need 3 files:

1. A web page that will contain the game (HTML file)
2. The Save Skelly! game in Flash format (SWF file)
3. An XML document that will serve as the source document for the game (XML file)

If you don't have a copy of the HTML file and Flash (SWF) file for the Save Skelly! game yet, click the first and second respective links above. Once you have those two files, proceed to the next section.

NOTE: For advanced users, do not download the files above. click here to find out how you can use different XML source documents using only one SWF file. The needed files are listed in the directions provided in the link.

Notes:
- may consist only of letters from English alphabet and spaces
- may only be up to 22 characters long, including spaces

• If you feel comfortable enough editing the XML document, you don't have to use this form. Just open the XML source document using any text editor and change the XML content directly. However, be careful not to mess up the syntax of the XML document. When in doubt, use the form in this page.

• If you are somewhat familiar with HTML, you can use only one instance of the SWF file as the engine for several XML source documents. By default, the SWF file searches for a relative XML document of the same file name. This means that if you want to use three Save Skelly! games on your website, you will have to have at least three SWF files, one for each XML document. By editing the query string in the object that is embedded in the HTML file provided above, you can get away with using only one SWF file even when you have more than one XML source document. This means host browsers will only have to download the SWF file once, which cuts on download time and server bandwidth. Below is the piece of code that appears in two places that you need to edit inside the HTML file that you download below.

  Just replace mySourceDocument.xml with the file name of your custom XML source document, and the SWF file will try to locate that custom XML document instead of it's XML document of the same name. You may download these three files to see an example:
